About Anna

Anna Vivette is a visual artist and lyric coloratura soprano from Chicago who currently resides in Scottsdale, Arizona. As a child, she was only exposed to classical music until she left the home school environment, this was due to her father's deep passion and appreciation for the genre. Once she became aware of other music styles, she immersed herself.

Since the age of five Anna has played the violin, and she toured Germany, Belgium, and France with her high school orchestra. These experiences helped her advance into what was to become seven years of intensive vocal studies under acclaimed opera singer and vocal teacher Ruth Dubinbaum. The first two years of Anna's vocal studies included coaching six days a week, and she continues her regimented vocal studies with Ms. Dubinbaum several days a week to this day.

Anna's dedication to her voice and her craft has led to a number of exciting performances. She has performed for world-renowned artists Dale Chihuly and Arthur Secunda, as well as for renowned architect Paolo Soleri at the inauguration of the Soleri Bridge in Scottsdale Arizona. She has also performed for the Amangiri Resort in Utah. Anna has also had the pleasure to work with the music publishing company Wild Whirled Music for four years, and with platinum songwriter Gardner Cole.

Anna's live repertoire is defined by operatic arias. She is currently in the studio with Jeff Freundlich, president of Wild Whirled Music, and Andy Gerold, bassist for Marilyn Manson. Together they are co-writing an album that is a juxtaposition of operatic vocals, electronica, and trip-hop.

It should also be mentioned that Anna is an accomplished visual artist. This is also partly due to her father Stephen Condren, who is an accomplished visual artist and a graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC). Currently Anna is creating her artwork with master printmaker and artist Shahrokh Rezvani at the Rezvani Workshop and Studio where artists such as Dale Chihuly, Fritz Scholder, Paul Jenkins, James Havard, Robert McCall, Gustavo Ramos Rivera, Arthur Secunda, and Lamar Briggs have maintained a long term working relation. The media in which Anna currently works include mixed media monotype, oil, acrylic, and pencil.

Anna was scheduled for a solo exhibition of her work, titled "Luminaries", at the West Valley Art Museum from August 13th to October 3rd, 2010. The exhibition did not materialize due to the museum's financial problems, causing the permanent closure of the museum. However, her works have been included in many collections, including the Dodge Theatre, the Billi Jo and Judd Herberger private collection, and many others.
